  • Liz
    Veterinary Nurse - Trainee

    Liz is new to the Veterinary industry &  joined our Team in July 2016. She is currently studying to become a Qualified Vet Nurse. Liz is very excited to be working in the job she has dreamed her whole life! Whilst she loves all animals she has a soft spot for birds, and enjoys caring for her two cockatiels Shadow and Angels when not at work.

  • Nicole
    Qualified Vet Nurse

    Nicole is a Qualified Vet Nurse / Technologist who comes to us from NZ with her kitten Leonard, who came to her as 3 week old kitten having been rescued from under a car.


    Her love of animals began when she was young, having grown up on her family dairy farm in the  South Waikato, in the North Island. Nicole has previously worked in a busy small animal clinic before moving to Australia earlier this year.

    Nicole enjoys all aspects of nursing but has a particular interest in anaesthesia. In her spare time Nicole is taking in all that Australia has to offer, especially the beaches. She also enjoys skiing and hiking.

  • Katy
    Qualified Vet Nurse

    Katy, coming to us all the way from Ireland joined the MBVC team in July 2018.

    She started her nursing career in lreland with a one year course in Animal Care and then completed a three year Bachelor of Science in Veterinary Nursing degree.

    Before coming to Australia, Katy worked in mixed and small animal veterinary practices as well as doing regular shifts on a pet farm.

    Katy is a lover of all small animals but has a particular soft spot for cats. She maintains the best part of her job is seeing a sick animal get back on their feet!

    In her spare time you can find her on the beach, socialising with friends or taking care of her newly adopted cat "Shakes".

  • Laura
    Veterinary Nurse Assistant

    Laura is new to the Veterinary profession and is currently studying to become a Qualified Vet Nurse. She is vital part of our team, ensuring the smooth running of our Cattery and Hospital. She is pictured here caring for very cute dog, Muffin, who was recovering from surgery.

  • Jane
    Trainee Vet Nurse

    Jane is new to the veterinary industry but has dreamed of working with animals from a young age and we welcomed to our team in April 2018.

    She is currently studying to become a fully qualified vet nurse and is working with us at the clinic part time. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary nursing especially giving cuddles to animals who need comfort. 

    Jane grew up in country Victoria and now lives with her family including three kids, two furry cavalier kids, four beautiful budgies and many fabulous fish.

    Hospital & Cattery Attendant

    Anna first came to the MBVC when she commenced her Duke of Ed certificate back in 2015.

    After she finished Year 12 and commenced her Science Degree at Melbourne Uni she returned to us working on the weekend in the Hospital and Cattery.

    Anna is goal is to study hard and get into Vet Science - we think she'll make a great vet!
