We are beyond excited to welcome Hayley to the Middle Brighton Vet family!

As our newest Vet Nurse, Hayley brings energy, compassion, and expert care to every furry (and not-so-furry!) patient she meets.

With a true passion for animal care, Hayley is dedicated to providing gentle, attentive support during check-ups, procedures, and everyday care. Her expertise and kind nature make her a wonderful addition to our clinic. With a degree in Animal and Veterinary Biosciences, Hayley is also working toward her dream of becoming a vet and every day at the clinic brings her one step closer.

When she’s not at the clinic, Hayley enjoys bush walks, a strong tea and a sweet treat.

We can’t wait for you to meet Hayley, stop by and give her a warm welcome.

A Note from Dr Pey

One of the most rewarding parts of my job is discovering new ways to help you give your pets their very best lives. I recently attended the ASAV Veterinary Conference in Cairns as well as the Vet Expo here in Melbourne, and came home with ideas I’m excited to share with our team and put into practice.

For our adored cats, I learned about new treatments and diets to manage thyroid, kidney and gastrointestinal diseases, allowing us to keep them comfortable and thriving for longer.

For our many dogs, from cavaliers to oodles, retrievers to staffies and all the breeds we love, there were new approaches to managing allergies, sore ears and itchy paws, helping them stay happy and active with fewer flare-ups.

Even our rabbits and pocket pets were included, with safer anaesthetics and gentler handling techniques to make their vet visits stress-free.
‍
The best part is bringing this knowledge back to our clinic. In our weekly meetings we share, discuss and learn from one another, ensuring every vet and nurse here can provide the most up-to-date care for your pets.
