Dr Laura

Dr. Laura brings precision, passion, and a touch of humour to her role at Middle Brighton Vet. A 2013 graduate of the University of Sydney, she’s currently studying for her memberships in surgery, with a special interest in laparoscopic and orthopaedic procedures. Whether she’s in theatre or making sure her patients are spoiled rotten during their stay, Laura is all about delivering exceptional care with warmth and skill.

Her clinic superpower? Ensuring every animal feels like royalty. At home, she’s ruled by two dogs—a noble collie-cavalier cross and a sweet but emotionally complex borzoi.

Laura calls Bayside Melbourne home and dreams of horse trekking across Mongolia. She’s clever and agile like her spirit animal, the cat—ideally one fed by four different families. And yes, she’s done a rectal exam on an elephant. It’s a story she’ll tell with a grin, and it’s just one of many that show her fearless, curious approach to vet life.
